I've noticed that there are a lot of web sites out there that make no sense. 'Sites that just waste valuable space that could be used for advertising, or spyware, or whatever... Cruel Music, of course, is NOT one of these wastes of space... But, anyway, I'm on a mission. I'm going to search for some crazy web sites. I'll post my results here, on the Blog section. And, since many of these sites won't be around much longer, I'll copy some of the text here, too. So, here is today's big winner:
"Work out your anger. Books by Corbie may be good for a break from life, but burning
excess energy by cleaning the house or taking a walk will leave you in a better state
of mind. Then when you are ready to relax, Corbie will be there waiting for you.
Losing yourself in a good book will clear your mind, just as physical work cleared
your anger."
What the crap is that all about?! And, who on Earth was I thinking about when I conducted such a search with Yahoo? Hmmm...

Monday, Monday...
I guess I picked a bad time to be in love...
I guess I picked a bad time to bring "Chatters" back. Boy... This is bad... I can't find a single chat room! I even tried Chatropolis. They charge $3 a month to chat, nowadays. I don't have $3, man! I mean, I do, but I don't want to spend it just so I can annoy people for "Chatters," you know? If anyone out there knows of a good, FREE chat service, let me know! I'm not using ICQ anymore. Sorry, NetSpirit. It's not so much the privacy invasion thing, with people stealing your IP Address on ICQ; It's the fact that there are no real people using ICQ anymore! All you find there are spammers, and crap like that.
So, yeah... Today's my big day off. I should be doing something productive, because God only knows when my next day off will be. As I just stated, I can't do anything else with "Chatters," for the moment. Music? Hmmm... Now, THERE'S something to ponder! Maybe... I don't know... Actually, I don't even know why I'm posting anything today, in the first place! Nothing's really new. Nothing's happenin.' It's just been a while since I posted anything, and I thought I'd write something. Oh yeah, some guys are going to put our new carpet in tomorrow... Is that news? Anyway, enjoy your Monday.

This Sucks, Too!
It sucks when I get out-smarted, while doing "WDN Chatters." It's happened a couple times before. And, it happened again, yesterday. In my last post, I said I had enough crap compiled for episode #704. So, I was just getting ready to compile said crap, when I discovered some new messages from 704's "victim." Turns out he/she somehow hacked into my ICQ, and got my IP address, and, from there, was able to learn all kinds of stuff about me, and the website, etc... He/she is probably reading this right now. So... My hat goes off to you, "NetSpirit," for catching on to the "Chatters" thing, and all. Even though it's a little freaky. But, yeah, I'll include the entire piece for #704, so everyone can see what I'm talking about. I've had problems with ICQ before, while doing "Chatters." So, I guess it's time to find a new way to annoy people... I don't know! As I've said before, all of the good chat rooms have been shut down. ICQ was kinda my last hope. I thought if I'd set up "WDN2's" ICQ account with high security settings that no one would be able to add me to their contact list, and, in turn, not be able to see my IP Address. But, "NetSpirit" found a loop hole of some sort, and added me to his/her contact list without my permission. Good job!

Today SUCKED!!!
Man, I'll tell ya! This day... Gawd, it sucked! I had to go to Charleston, WV, this morning. So, right there... Trouble from the start! It was only the third time in my life that I've been to my state's capital (yeah, I'm weird like that). But, I had to be there by 8:30 this morning. I left here at 5:55, which would give me plenty of time to get to my top secret meeting... About that... TOP SECRET stuff, man! I can't say what it is right now, I'm sorry. There's only 3 people (not counting my family) in the world who know what I'm up to, so I've got to keep a lid on it for the moment. But anyway... I made it to Charleston at, like, 7:15, this morning. PLENTY of time, no? Well... I'm not exactly all that familiar with Charleston... And... I GOT LOST!!! Yeah, really... How pathetic is that?! I was supposed to turn on Exit 99, right? Well, I SWEAR Exit 99 does not exist!!! I looked for it FOREVER! So.. I finally just got off the interstate, and drove around in town FOREVER hoping I'd accidently stumble into the place where I was supposed to be. I couldn't find it! I even asked for directions, and everything! But, all of a sudden, like some sort of cruel joke, I found my destination, at 8:25. Then, my next problem: NO PARKING METERS!!! So, I drove around a bit longer, and finally found the visitor's parking lot... At 8:30... The time that I was supposed to be at my meeting!!! I knew I wouldn't be able to get in, but I tried anyway. It was about 20 degrees out, today, by the way... I nearly froze to death, walking those 2 blocks to the building where my meeting was being held. I found my distination, went upstairs, tried to open the door, and found... That the door was locked!!! 8:35. Yes. They started without me. "What's the big deal?" you may ask. Well, these particular types of meetings are only held on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays. I WASTED A TRIP TO CHARLESTON!!! So, I'll have to go back next week, right? WRONG!!! I have to work on all 3 of those days, next week. So, my next window of opportunity will be on March 21. So, that was kinda depressing... I mean, I have spent $75 for gas this week! I kid you not, friends. In the last 6 days, I have filled my gas tank up 3 times! $25 a pop!
Hey, but all is not lost! I have enough material assembled from my ICQ nonsense to make episode #704 of "Chatters!" It's about time, eh?

WDN Difficulties
I see now why "Chatters" was on hiatus for so long. It became really difficult to get any new material. I'm having that problem right now. I've been trying (I really have!) to do episode #704. I mean, when I brought "Chatters" back, last month, I was going to do a new episode every week, and it was going to be fresh, and new, and exciting. Things went south when I got that virus thing. That ended the notion of a new episode every week. Now that I'm better, I should be able to come up with something, right? Well... No. I keep my ICQ online all the time, hoping that some interesting person will pop up, and provide me with some good material, but that just doesn't seem to be happening (ahhh! Just as I typed that, I got an ICQ message... Hold on...). See! That's EXACTLY what I'm talking about! No one uses ICQ anymore! Just those lame, porn companies! This is from a chick named Tina, supposedly. She's from f2o2x7h7. Her street address is q3b2r2q9j8t1p9v9u. She wants me to allow her to add me to her contact list. Yeah... This sort of thing happens several times a day. They're not even real people, so it's pointless. If I write to them, I get some sort of reply back that says, "Check out my pictures at www.lookatmenude.com," or something... But, there IS something developing on ICQ, I think. I was attempting to find someone from another country, so I could annoy them (just like we used to do on "Chatters"). I found this chick from Rio, named Magdalena. I sent her some sort of dumb message, like, "Is it good there?" So now, I keep getting those authorization things from her. After 6 or 7 attempts, I still won't grant her access. I should just go ahead, and give her permission to add me to her list, I guess. It may end up being funny. But, the thing about ICQ is that hackers can get your IP address, and stuff, if you authorize them, so I always make sure I'm dealing with a geniuine dummy before I authorize anyone. Magdalena could be a hacker. She seems to have a thousand different accounts with ICQ, 18 of which I've added to my contact list. That has to be annoying! I've added her to my list, because she doesn't have the authorization thing set up on her side, but she can't add me to her list. She always sends me the same 2 messages. "Please authorize my re guest," and "I can not send message." I wrote back to her, last night, and said, "Do you like Elvis, or not?" I don't know... It has the potential of being an episode of "Chatters." I just don't seem to have any patience anymore. I went to thedoors.com, last night, to see if their chat room was working (that was always the place to be, when "Chatters" first started), but I see that they've taken out their chat room all together now! Grrrr!!! Are there any good chat rooms left on the internet?! Or are they just a thing of the past now? I could always go to the Williamson Daily News website, and post some crap on their message board, I guess. That seemed to have got people all riled up, a few years ago. But, that's the key! "A few years ago!" It's been done before! I have to be original. Keep it fresh, ya know?!
Hey, in the meantime, I'm cooking up some plans for WDN TV. Funny stuff to film... It's been a while since I've filmed anything. Last year's mud slide kinda killed the mood. But, it's time to bring that back! I've got some "WDN-Theater"-esque ideas floating around, involving "Leave It To Beaver." And the "famous people" around here are always funny. Joyce Gail, That Old Drunk Man, Chicken George, Miller, etc... I'm going to be filming some new stuff involving them real soon... As always, my lack of time seems to be the issue.

This Mud's For You!!!
By the way, I'm over that stomach-virus-thing. Thank you!
Hey, what's the deal with mud slides?! I've not felt the need to mention this on my blog -- until now!!! It's constantly raining, here, in West Virginia, these days. On May 31, 2004, southern WV was devastated by floods. That was never an issue for me and my family, because we live on a hill. But, in May, our hill started sliding! The area behind our house, formerly known as a yard, washed down. Half of the hill was covering the back of our house (it came up to the roof behind my room). Mud everywhere, pretty much. In July, FEMA came to the rescue! Yeah... I said July... Not a moment too soon, eh? I guess they were kinda busy, though, and it took them a while to get to us. Anyway, they came in, and dug all of the mud out, and everything was fine for about a month. We had a yard again! Since the dirt was still settling, and stuff, I had an easy summer of grass-cutting. See, I didn't have much grass to cut... But, that's not why you called... I guess it was around August, the hill started sliding again. We'd get little, minor mud slides every time it'd rain. We thought that it was normal, because it was still settling, or whatever. But... It just keeps coming down! There's as much mud piled up in our yard now, as there was on May 31! It's not threatening the house this time, but it's just a matter of time before it starts getting close again. I spent my evening, Sunday, digging a ditch, hoping that it would give all of the water somewhere to go. But, Monday, it started raining again, and a new mud slide totally wiped out the ditch that I'd worked so hard on ("Huh huh... Hard on! Huh huh huh!" Remember "Beavis and Butthead?"). I'm really sick of seeing all this mud! It's cool that I won't have to worry about grass again this summer, but enough is enough! I'd rather cut grass than dig around in this mud all the time!
