Chicken George Committed!

One of the Famous People of Chattaroy has been committed to a mental institute, according to sources.  It's not just ANY Famous Person, either.  It was quite possibly the most Famous Person of all the Famous People, Chicken George!

Chicken George is said to have nine lives.  He has survived two house fires, he's been stabbed, and he's even been hit by a train.  A few years ago he was imprisoned for indecent exposure.  He always bounces back from what ever misfortunes come his way.  This could very well be the last we ever see of Chicken George, though.  It doesn't seem likely that he'll get out of this one.  Stay tuned...

My Brush With Greatness

I took Baby Girl to the Charleston Mall today for the first time. While we were there we had an unbelievable moment. I looked at a guy coming down the escalator, who seemed to be posing like a GQ model, or something. Then, I realized that the guy was none other than WSAZ meteorologist Tony Cavalier! We slowed down a bit so we could stare at him, and he went into a shoe store. It would have been extremely humorous if we would have brought the camera with us, but we didn't... But, for those of you who are not from the "Mountain State," here's the man I'm talking about:

Other "Famous" News

The Man family used to paint their house about every month, but they have stopped in recent years... I think the habit has returned now. They've painted their house, like, 4 times in the last week. It was gray trimmed in purple (I crap you not... Purple). Then, they went to yellow, and kept the purple trim. Next, they changed the trim to brown. A couple days ago, the trim was green. And now, today, they painted the whole house green. I don't get them... Weird people, that Man family.

Also, on my way home for lunch today, I saw Chicken George walking around in circles, carrying an empty basket. I don't know...
