Back In The Saddle

Somewhere along the line, I screwed up my back. I've never mentioned it here, because I thought it'd go away. It's not going anywhere, though. I don't even remember when I hurt it! It's been about 6 months now, I guess. I woke up around 4 am last night, screaming "Owwww!!!" I think I was "Owwing" in my sleep, actually, and it woke me up... I woke Angel Baby up, too. I'm in pain, bottom line. It was an on-again, off-again-type of pain for the first few months, but for these last couple weeks it's been a steady, sharp pain. Am I 32 or 92?

Guitar #13

This is my old (how old?!) Gibson, donated by my dad on June 6th. Don't really know how old it is, but I'm thinking, at least, 1940s. It doesn't have a serial number anywhere on it!

Classic Photos (Chapter One)

It's getting high time do a little cleaning up over at the Cruel Music site. The photo album page is about to go bye-bye, in an effort to make room for more nonsense. But, fear not, a good deal of those old, classic WDN photos are going to be transferred right about here:

Posing with the newest (at that time) WDN tape, "We Thought You Was A Toad" (CM199). 6-30-01.

New Poopie!

We've released our fair share of crap over the years at Cruel Music. I'm currently working on the biggest piece of poop to date... ULTRAPOOP!!! "What the poop is Ultrapoop?" you say? Well... It's a new techno band in Cruel Music. It features my 17-month old nephew on vocals, some appearances by my parents, and then I do, pretty much, everything else. Pretty much... Techno? Yeah, I think so... I'm still working on a label to pin on it, but techno kinda fits at the moment, in these infant phases... I started working on this project on May 28th, so it's still in development. I recorded Ultrapoop "The Demo" (CM239) today. "The Album" is yet to come. Followed by (I'm hoping, at least) "The Remix."

For Pete's Snake!

I killed this black snake yesterday. My dad says I shouldn't have killed it, because they're not poisonous. Now I feel all bad... One chased my grandpa a few years ago, so I thought they were bad guys. Sorry!

May 2008: A Reflection

On May 1st I got another picture of Chicken George in action:

On May 6th we got married, of course:

On May 7th we went to Baby Girl's mom's house on our honeymoon for a few days:

On May 9th we went to the Airforce Museum in Dayton:

Also on May 9th I completed the official 2007-2008 home video (CM237).

On May 10th we went to Carriage Hill Farm also in Dayton:

On May 11th we started our long journey home... First we saw this nifty alien sign.

Then, we crossed the Carl Perkins bridge back into Kentucky:

On May 19th I caught this cool picture of the moon coming up from behind the clouds and mountain:

And later, I completed the 71st WDN recording, "Larry King Live: Are UFOs Real?" (CM238). Awesome, two recordings in one month!

On May 24th locusts started their reign on Earth... Just mocking us until they return, and start eating our flesh in 2012:

On May 29th I learned that I might be getting a bit of a "promotion" at work...

Dude, May 2008 was great! How was yours?
