The History Channel is right in the middle of its "Armageddon Week." They've been playing a lot of shows about Nostradamus, and the end of time, and whatnot. The thing I've noticed about Nostradamus is that people seem to interpret his quatrains to fit whatever they want them to be. Nostradamus will say, "The great tiger will fall in the month of the full moon," and people are like, "Well, he's, obviously, saying that there's going to be a nuclear fallout in early March." I mean, COME ON, MAN!!! I'm not saying that Nostradamus didn't know what he was talking about, or anything... I used to eat that type of stuff up, but now I'm "older and wiser," and 90% of Nostradamus's predictions just seem like total CRAP to me. Sorry.
2012... That's a different story. I WANT something to happen so bad I can hardly stand it. I want to see things change. I want to shake things up. I want to see a comet hit Earth, or the economy to fail, or aliens to land, or SOMETHING. I want to see something HUGE just totally change all of society's rules, and screw everything up for them.
