Dad

My dad had a stroke on August 13th. It affected his vision, speech, and his legs a little. He's been in rehabilation for the last week or so, and he's doing a lot better. He can walk and talk now, but he still can't see. The "vision specialist" saw him yesterday. She said that there's nothing we can do about his sight, because the damage has been done, and it's "in God's hands now." Your prayers would be appreciated. :) I've been trying to visit him in the hospital as much as possible, but my work schedule is the same as his visiting hours, so it's pretty hard to do.

Nope... Nothing happened. See, Tantric was doing this autograph-signing thing at the FYE in Huntington, today. I saw them sitting there, with their crew, and fans, and stuff... But... I kinda didn't know who they were! Heh heh. I made eye-contact with one of the guys in the band, while I was staring at them, trying to figure out who they were... Man, if I'd known that they were actually a cool band, such as Tantric, I would've spoke to them, or something! Sucks that Mtv, or VH1 don't play good music anymore. If I only I would've known what they looked like, or something... Sucks!

Yeah, it was an eye-opening experience. It let me see their "true colors," and gave me a glimpse of the future, and made me realize I didn't need those people in my life any longer.

Extremely.

Yes, and so is my toothbrush.

Just customers. Nothing new...

Genesis. I think I'll just skip ahead to Revelations next.

Probably could if I had to. Never tried to make brownies yet. You bring up a good point... I should make brownies! And, I'll put Oreo cookies in them!

No. TV = The Devil. I watch a lot of movies, and I watch a handful of TV shows, but most of the crap on TV is just... Well, crap.

Kinda. I have a sweet farmer's tan going on.

Don't know, but it's a safe bet that she's not home, or with the baby.

Why does it have to be the bathroom floor? Is it possible for one to collapse in other places, say, the kitchen floor, or the living room, or even a shopping center?

Are you afraid of falling in love?
I was, because I've heard some horror tales about love. That's why I waited until I met my soul mate before I'd fall in love with anyone.

If the person who hurt you the most in your life apologized and told you they loved you what would you say?
I've been hurt numerous times in my life. How can one judge which person hurt me most? I mean, like, the kids who tormented me in school... I hated them at the time, and they made me shy, and depressed, and whatever... But, I'm thankful for those people now. Looking back, I can see that everything happened for a reason. If they wouldn't have tormented me, then I probably would've turned out to have been on drugs, or an alcoholic, or in jail, just like most of those people are today. If the wrong girls wouldn't have ripped my heart out, and crushed my dreams, then I wouldn't have met my soulmate. See where I'm going with all this? I'm thankful. So, what would I say? I'd say "Thank you."

What's Been Going On?

The Cruel Music project of the moment is "The Whole, Entire Phone Anthology" (WDN 72 / CM 242). It's a long, difficult process... I'm digitally remastering all of our prank phone calls, and slapping them on to CD. Eck!

We watched the best "Batman" movie EVER, yesterday, "The Dark Knight." Watch it. Now!

But, like I said in #5, I'm happy happy, for the most part. The world may be screwed up, but at least my heart will never hurt again.

At this moment Ozzy has been voted off the island. He is going to be an outside cat from now on. It seems that he just can't learn to behave! In the meantime, we found a suitable replacement for Ozzy, today. Her name is Daisy. She's a total opposite from Evil Ozzy. She's just the sweetest little kitten ever! She's about 4 weeks old, she's sorta black calico, and she looks about like this:

Back In The Saddle

Somewhere along the line, I screwed up my back. I've never mentioned it here, because I thought it'd go away. It's not going anywhere, though. I don't even remember when I hurt it! It's been about 6 months now, I guess. I woke up around 4 am last night, screaming "Owwww!!!" I think I was "Owwing" in my sleep, actually, and it woke me up... I woke Angel Baby up, too. I'm in pain, bottom line. It was an on-again, off-again-type of pain for the first few months, but for these last couple weeks it's been a steady, sharp pain. Am I 32 or 92?

This is my old (how old?!) Gibson, donated by my dad on June 6th. Don't really know how old it is, but I'm thinking, at least, 1940s. It doesn't have a serial number anywhere on it!
