Mom Update
It seems like I'm doing a lot of whining these days... What's my problem?! I'm happy now! I've just turned the blog into a forum for whining, I guess... So, during all my whining, I forgot to mention how Mom's doing. A couple weeks ago, the doctors told her that her treatments are working, and that she's doing "exceptionally great," or some big, weird phrase like that. She doesn't have much cancer left in her liver at all, and even her bones are looking better. She says that she'll just have to take 2 or 3 more chemo treatments, and she'll be all done. Cool huh?

Job Search 2007
I wish I would've finished the job in 2005. Finished the job of finding a job, that is. I chickened out back then, and went back to the grocery store. I got a new job yesterday, and didn't take it! I would've been driving railroad workers around to different places, at all hours of the day. It would've been more money, but I would've been gone all the time. Money isn't everything. So, I didn't take the job. I stay away from home enough as it is! I sure don't want a job that's going to keep me away even longer! And besides, after my big deer fight, Monday, I don't think I want to be on the road any more than I have to now. The search goes on...

Oh My God, I Killed Bambi!!!
Exciting day. I was on my way to work today, and hit a deer! I guess that's something that everyone has to do, at least once in their life... Or, so I hear... I'm innocent, though. I didn't intentionally kill Bambi. You've gotta hear my side of the story "Before You Accuse Me." I was in the fast lane, right? There was a slow car in front of me, so I got over in the right lane to pass this slow poke. As I was passing the guy I saw a deer in the corner of my right eye... It just, literally, came out of nowhere... And, BOOM!!! I saw it flopping around on the shoulder of the road behind me. Then, I saw glass all around me... Then, I saw my busted windshield... Then, I saw that my side mirror was gone... So, I made the decision to just go on to work. What's the use in stopping, huh? I was running late as it was, and there was no point in stopping. The deer was dead, and there wasn't any danger in anyone else hitting it, and my car was dead. I just maintained my speed, and pretended like it never even happened... Until I got at the grocery store... Then, I was mad! The whole passenger's side of my awesome Mustang was, pretty much, ripped off by the roots! From the front bumper to the back bumper. And, as if to add insult to injury, the deer POOPED on my back fender! I was the center of attention at work. That was pretty neat. Kinda took my mind off being so mad. And, in a weird turn of events, the insurance company is actually going to pay for the damages! I figure there's AT LEAST $5,000 worth of damage, maybe more. So, I guess they'll be fixing the old Thanksgiving injuries to the car, too, because the deer's damage was, pretty much, right on top of the old damage. "Everything happens for a reason." Heh heh. So, eventually, I'll be driving a flawless car again. It'll probably take them, like, a month to fix the car, but at least they're going to fix it... Probably raise my insurance rates through the roof... But, they're fixing it... They're going to put a new windshield in Friday, but they're not even going to do an estimate until the 18th, so it's hard to say when they'll actually get around to fixing it... And, they're not going to get me a rental car, so that's kinda mean! I can't get my old Beretta back on the road, because the motor is dead. Mom is going to be my taxi cab for a while. That sucks! Anyway, here's the proof:

My boss said, "You'll always remember what song you were listening to when you hit that deer." And, I do. Nirvana's "Curmudgeon." =)
In other news, my jury duty stint is over! I didn't even have to serve any, and they're going to give me 80 bucks! How cool is that?

My "Heel Turn"
In professional wrestling (and I guess "real" sports would have it, too) "bad guys" are called "heels." I've been undergoing such a "heel turn" over the last couple years. Kinda. I used to always be "Mr. Nice Guy," and happy, and smiling around everyone. But, lately I've been thinking, "Why should I be nice to people who treat me like crap?!" So, as a result, I hardly talk to anyone at work anymore. If people are nice to me, then I'm nice back. But, for the most part, I'm just not speaking. Another huge factor in my heel turn is the fact that I'm, basically, working for NOTHING. Low pay, ya know? And, no matter what I do to impress my boss, and hope for a raise, he just won't give it to me. So, yeah, I don't speak to my boss... Which would kinda reflect on my old philosophy, I hate authority figures. Always have, always will. And also, because I hate rich people. Always have, always will. So, I tend to hate my boss. He's rich, and he sucks. I have three friends at work... Three people there that I trust. But, everyone else there SUCKS. I used to talk to people in other departments all the time, the vendors, and whatnot, but now I don't speak to anyone, other than those 3 people... Even though none of the people in other departments, or vendors, have actually "wronged me" in any way, it's just the fact that I hate being there... I hate my job, I hate my pay, I hate to be in the place. I'd much rather just stay home with my sweet angel all the time, because that's the only time I'm ever truly happy anymore. Life sucks, dig? I'm happy when I'm walking at my floodwall, but my legs hurt constantly now, so I can't walk... Because I'm always on my feet at work, and don't get enough rest, because of work, so my legs hurt, because of work, and I hate work!!! I wish I wouldn't have even went back there whenever I quit that time, but the other jobs I tried were even more depressing than the grocery store... So, yeah, people are always wondering what's wrong with me now. "Why are you so quiet?" "Why don't you joke around anymore like you used to do?" So, that's why!
Which brings me to my next topic... I hate rich people!!! There are rich people in my family, uncles and stuff... Do I hate them? Tricky question... I don't neccessarily HATE them... That's a special circumstance, I guess. I can't hate family, right? I don't hate them, I just don't like them, and I don't want them to be a part of my life.

Telescope: Night 1
We FINALLY got to put our Christmas telescope to use, last night! It was warm outside, and it wasn't very cloudly... Those two things have been stopping us for the last few months... I thought I'd start the festivities by aiming the telescope at the moon. You know, get everything focused, and alligned, and whatnot. What I saw was a bit of a surprise. I couldn't stop looking at the moon. It's been there forever, but it was like I was seeing it for the first time... Which I kinda was, I guess. I kept telling Denise to look at it, but I wouldn't let her have the telescope. Heh heh. We got to see it with a lot of clarity, and stuff. It was awesome, dude! I wanted to run out to all the neighbors' houses, and say, "Hey, come and look at the moon!!!" Yeah... As previously noted, I SUCH a nerd! 8) So, yeah, here's kinda how it looked to us, last night, only better:

We also caught a glance of the infamous "Wobble" UFO. It was coming up from the mountain, and we could kinda see it through the trees. I think the light from the moon was making the "Wobble" appear dim, or something, because it didn't look like it usually does. Anyway, we got to see the green, yellow, and red colors through the telescope... But, almost as soon as we got focused on it, some clouds (or fog?) covered the sky, and blocked our view.

Last Day Of Freedom
Gotta go back to work tomorrow. Gotta go back to being a good, little puppet. A good sheep. Taking orders left and right, and pretending to enjoy it. Trying very hard to keep the fact that I'm seriously underpaid out of my mind the whole time I'm taking these orders. Still looking for a new job, but not having a whole lot of luck...
I don't usually do this sort of thing, but I'm kinda pissed about it, so I think it's my civic duty to spread the word. Do not... I repeat, DO NOT BUY WINDOWS VISTA!!! It's a waste of money. You have to have a ridiculous amount of RAM just to run the stupid thing. It takes about 5 minutes for your computer to boot up whenever you're using Windows Vista. You get an endless amount of stupid prompts, such as, "You clicked Internet Explorer. Would you like to continue on to the internet now?" Your printer will not work with Windows Vista. I don't know what kind of printer you have, but count on it, your printer will not work with Windows Vista. The desktop icons are huge, and kinda scary looking. I could go on and on, but I HAVE TO GO BACK TO WORK TOMORROW. So, in closing, please, do yourself a favor: Don't buy Windows Vista. Just stick with Windows XP.
What did I accomplish on my 8 days off? Some stuff, I guess, but nothing was actually completed. We saw a movie... "Premonition." Good movie, but incomplete, because it was so confusing. I started painting the deck, but ran out of paint... Then, saw that paint was $16 a gallon, and got too depressed to finish painting, because I can't afford a $16 gallon of paint. I recorded some stuff, but since I have Windows Vista, I can't get my music on to the computer!!! We tried to look at stars with the Christmas telescope, last night, but it got cloudy as soon as we got outside, and we didn't even get to see anything! It was a fun vacation, though... Don't get me wrong. I filmed Chicken George walking around in front of our house. We made Tommy and Ozzy fight. And, I showed my baby girl what a "crawl dad" is. Filmed that too, actually. I was kinda hoping it'd pinch Ozzy's nose, but it was afraid of him, I guess...

This could turn out to be a fairly productive vacation, after all... I "fixed" the 4-track recorder today! It needed new batteries! Heh heh. While I was playing around with the recorder, I kinda, sorta, accidentally erased a couple tracks from the November 2005 sessions. Bummer. Antiseptic Anxiety's "Sugar On The Table" and The Beatles cover-song, "Norwegian Wood" are gone. I re-recorded "Norwegian Wood" today, but, sadly, "Sugar On The Table" is lost forever. The magic of that November recording session could never be captured again... Actually, I listened to the song a couple times before I accidentally erased it, and it wasn't all that good, to tell you the truth... November 2005?! Man, that's crazy! That's a huge gap in the recording process! My original plan, according to THE BLOG, was to record two new Cruel Music albums at the same time. One, of course, was to be from Antiseptic Anxiety, the goofy band with my aunt "10," and the other was something of a Cruel Connection-like album, with cover songs and stuff... So, I guess I'll revert back to that original gameplan... Later this week. =)

Tinkering
Been kinda tinkering around with the 'site throughout most of the day. You'll notice some new links on the sidebar of the blog page. Most notably, a link to the "Profiles" page. This is an old page in the Cruel Music site that I built back around 2003, but I "modernized" it today. It's fully updated now, complete with matching 2007 Cruel Music theme colors and pictures. So, if you've been wondering, "Who the crap are these 'Famous People,' Junebug?" then you'll definitely wanna take a gander at that page.
Speaking of "Famous People," Baby Girl was introduced to "Clown Woman," today... I've got to add Clown Woman to the profile page sometime, but not tonight, because it's late, and I'm sleepy... But, just as a brief intro, there's a woman around town that dresses up like some sort of clown, gypsy-woman. We saw her at Walmart, tonight. Here's a little sketch I did of her in 2003, so you'll have an idea of what I mean:
...She had a slightly different, but equally goofy, new hairstyle tonight, with some sort of Christmas decorations hanging from her hair, but you get the picture, right?
One more thing... Speaking of pictures... I'll be putting those "artist-rendering"-style pictures of the famous people up on the profile page soon, too...

Timeout
I'm officially on vacation now! I didn't even know it until yesterday evening. My boss is actually letting me take my vacation! I get to be lazy until next Saturday. Good stuff! I was planning to record some tunes this week, but since the 4-track recorder is toast, I don't see that happening now. So, what am I going to do, exactly? Kinda looks like I'll be doing everything except for being lazy, actually. I need to paint the deck, plant the garden, get the car fixed (yes, from when that dumb woman at work hit my car on Thanksgiving...), and I need to get a new tire on the car... One of 'em keeps going flat on me. I'm hoping the $3,000 extended warranty will cover it... Why did I take an extended warranty in the first place, if it's not going to do me any good. Turns out I was kind dumb, back in 2004. I let the car salesman talk me in to getting a 75,000-mile extended warranty. Every time something goes wrong with the car I try to use my warranty privileges, and every time I try to use those privileges the shop always says, "Oh, I'm sorry, you're warranty does not cover that." Needless to say, I'm not going to get an extended warranty the next time I buy a car!

Anybody Know What This Thing Is?!
I've been seeing this in the skies above Chatty ever since 1993. It's always in the same spot, and it's there almost every single night. I saw it again, tonight, on my way home from work...
The red dots around it fade on and off in a weird, random sequence. The red, green, and blue lights inside flash. And the whole thing wobbles back and forth, from right to left. I used to think it was a UFO, but since it's always there it must be something else, huh? I dubbed it a "Wobble," or "Wobbling UFO," back in 1993... Some people think it's a satellite, but I don't know... I'd love to look at it with our telescope, but the mountain in front of our house is blocking it.

Famous Sightings
I saw Joyce Gail and her boyfriend on the way to work, today. Chicken George was in the grocery store, yesterday. And, Monday I saw Budweiser Man!!! Yesss!!! He's not missing anymore!!! I'm kinda thinking of making a page that details the whereabouts of all these famous people, so those of you who are not familiar with them can get to know them.
In other news, my boss sucks!!! I'm not getting my much-deserved vacation next week, after all. BUTT MONKEY!!!

What About Sue?
Speaking of "Famous People," I seem to have forgotten about one of the most famous people of them all... SUE THE PROSTITUTE!!! Yeah, I don't know what got in to me. I forgot about Sue the Prostitute! I've not seen her around for, like, 4 years, so it was easy to forget about her. I think she's been in jail, or something... But, now, SHE'S BAAAACK!!! I saw her a couple days ago, on my way to work, and I saw her again today at lunch time. For those of you not familiar with Sue the Prostitute, she is Jerry Lee (also a famous person, coincidentally enough)'s mom. She's about 70 years old. She did have gray hair, but since her return she's had dark brown hair. She walks the streets of Chatty, looking for love. I kid you not! It's extremely funny!

Beecher Lives!!!
Hey, oh yeah, I forgot! Me and my baby girl saw Beecher, the missing "famous person," Friday at Wal Mart. Forgot all about that, man! So, thanks for all the letters of concern for Beecher, and all, but he's okay. He's fine! I saw him again, today at lunch, as a matter of fact, on my way back to work.
Junebug... Live... In Concert!!!
Just had my second live performance for my baby girl. I played (and sung!!!) the same three songs that I did the first time, back around November, or something... "Knockin' On Heaven's Door," "Norweigan Wood," and "About A Girl." Very exciting stuff! DVD coming soon!
...This is the last of my three days off. Nice, little, mini vacation. Gotta go back to work in the morning... Sucks.
(Note: "Second live performance" means second time singing. Baby Girl hears me playing my guitar all the time. It's just a bit of a rarity that I sing... See, I kinda can't sing... I suck... Oh yeah, and that thing about the live DVD may not be entirely true...)

Meerkat Alert!
For my money, the best soap opera on TV is a show on Animal Planet, called "Meerkat Manor." Have you ever watched this show? It's about these 4 families of meerkats, the Whisker's, the Elizuli's, the Splinter's, and the Commando's. Every weeks they go on these neat little adventures. Sometimes the families fight with each other over their territory, or their women, or their kids. Very addictive! Check it out!

Firsts
So, as you know, I'm in love for the first time in my life, we bought our first house, I have my first studio, etc. Last night, another historic first: Our first thunderstorm in our new house!!! Yeah, the weather finally got better, yesterday. Nice 60-degree temperatures. It's supposed to be like that for the next 7 days, according to our 7-day forecast on the Weather Channel. Vacation time is coming up! I'm taking a vacation on March 11. Did I mention that already? Well, yeah, I'm going to take a vacation, and make lots of music, and fun, and stuff... Cut my ring finger at work tonight, too. Heh heh.

Famous (Dead) Person
I heard something strange at work, today. One of Cruel Music's "Famous People" has died. Miller, of "Chicken George and Miller" fame, died one day last week. Chicken George ran in the house, and woke up a sleeping, drunken Miller, and said, "The house is on fire, you've gotta get outta here!" Miller, reportedly, said, "Get out of here, and leave me alone. I'm trying to sleep." So, Chicken George left... Left his brother in the house to be burned alive! Weird, huh? I saw Chicken George in the grocery store, Saturday. I thought it was a bit strange to see him alone, because Miller always followed behind him...
In related news, I saw Joyce Gail at the Post Office, Saturday. Heh heh. That Old Drunk Man, and his boyfried were spotted walking down the road a couple weeks ago, too. And, I saw "Jerry Wee," and Joyce Gail's boyfriend about a week ago. Famous People are taking over!!!

I'm really missing that global warming thing, man! I got so used to not having snow in the winter! I hate winter now! It's been freezing BRRRR here for, like, the last month now. Last week's snow finally melted off yesterday, when the temperature finally got back up to 60 degrees, where it "belongs." It rained, and stuff... Then, today, we wake up, and there's more snow! It's only about an inch deep this time, but it's just the thought of snow that makes me angry...
Oh, and speaking of angry... I was EXTREMELY angry, yesterday. Remember that four-track recorder, that I bought back in October 2005? The CD recorder that was going to revolutionize Cruel Music? Well... I never really got around to using it, because I couldn't figure out how to get my music from the recorder on to the computer. So, now, I have a studio at our cool new house, and I have a reason to actually use that 4-track recorder, and... IT WON'T WORK!!!! I don't know what happened. I plugged it up, and nothing happened! So, there goes 200 bucks, or whatever it was, down the drain!
But, today is better. Surprised my baby with some roses and a teddy bear for Valentine's Day, this morning. I used to really hate Valentine's Day. One of the most depressing days of the year. But, now, my least favorite holiday is, suddenly, a very cool holiday!

It's kinda like when I was a kid... It'd snow in November, and it wouldn't melt off until April. Over the last few years, we've just been getting, like, an inch or two of snow, and it'd melt off the very next day. Well, that big, huge, 4-inch snow that we got, the other day, is still here! It's amazing! The stuff just won't melt! Heh heh. I still don't get it... A couple weeks ago, it was 70 degrees outside, and flowers were blooming, and trees were getting green, and everything. I crap you not...

Big snow storm, man! We got about 4 inches of snow, last night. It's the most snow we've had in about 5 or 6 years. That whole global warming thing kinda killed snow for this part of the country. So now I'm late for work. Supposed to work from 12-9 today, but I'm stranded right now. Maybe it'll melt in a little while, so I can go. It'd be cool if it doesn't melt, though, and I could just stay here with my Angel Baby all day.
Still kinda changing the blog. I stuck a media player on here, yesterday. So that's pretty neat. My Angel Baby introduced it to me, and I've been playing with it ever since.

Don't talk to me, I'm on Jury Duty!
Heh heh. This is going to be going on until the first week of April. I've never been on jury duty before, so I'm kinda excited, and kinda scared at the same time. Haven't actually watched a trial yet. I think that starts next week...
In the mean time, I've been working on a new front page for the Cruel Music site. I'm sworn to secrecy on that topic, too... I can say that the site is going to look very sick, demented, dark, and evil. I usually tend to change the blog site to match the Cruel Music site every year, too, so be on the lookout for changes within the next couple days...
Time to go to work. Bye.

Uncle Junebug!
Good Forward From My Old Friend, 'Mare
A mouse looked through the crack in the wall to see the farmer and his wife open a package.
What food might this contain?" The mouse wondered - he was devastated to discover it was a mousetrap.
Retreating to the farmyard, the mouse proclaimed the warning : There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
The chicken clucked and scratched, raised her head and said, "Mr.Mouse , I can tell this is a grave concern to you, but it is of no consequence to me. I cannot be bothered by it." The mouse turned to the pig and told him, "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
The pig sympathized, but said, I am so very sorry, Mr.Mouse, but there is nothing I can do about it but pray.
Be assured you are in my prayers." The mouse turned to the cow and said "There is a mousetrap in the house! There is a mousetrap in the house!"
The cow said, "Wow, Mr. Mouse. I'm sorry for you, but it's no skin offmynose."
So, the mouse returned to the house, head down and dejected, to face the farmer's mousetrap alone.
That very night a sound was heard throughout the house -- like the sound of a mousetrap catching its prey.
The farmer's wife rushed to see what was caught. In the darkness, she did not see it was a venomous snake whose tail the trap had caught.
The snake bit the farmer's wife. The farmer rushed her to the hospital,
andshe returned home with a fever.
Everyone knows you treat a fever with fresh chicken soup, so the farmer took his hatchet to the farmyard for the soup's main Ingredient.
But his wife's sickness continued, so friends and neighbors came to sit with her around the clock. To feed them, the farmer butchered the pig.
The farmer's wife did not get well; she died.
So many people came for her funeral, the farmer had the cow slaughtered to provide enough meat for all of them. The mouse looked upon it all from his crack in the wall with great sadness.
So, the next time you hear someone is facing a problem and think it doesn't concern you, remember -- when one of us is threatened, we are all at risk.
We are all involved in this journey called life. We must keep an eye out for one another and make an extra effort to encourage one another.
REMEMBER,,,,
EACH OF US IS A VITAL THREAD IN ANOTHER PERSON'S TAPESTRY;
OUR LIVES ARE WOVEN TOGETHER FOR A REASON.
One of the best things to hold onto in this world is a Friend.

Not everyone on my mom's side of the family sucks. She does have two cool brothers, Randy and Terry. Terry... Yes, the founder of Cruel Music's WDN. WDN has been, more or less, dead ever since Ryan left. Terry hasn't appeared in any official WDN recordings since 1994, but it's kinda inspiring to know that he's still out there "gettin' it done." He has recently been filming our uncle, Ford, in some (according to my parents) very funny bits. Who knows, maybe I'll get my hands on a copy of these tapes that Terry has been working on, and convert them over to Cruel Music standards, and attempt to breathe new life into the dying WDN...

One Year Ago...
If I would've drove by this house, one year ago, and imagined that I'd be living here today,
I would've thought I was crazy.
If you would've told me, one year ago, that I'd be living in this house with my soulmate,
I would've told you you're crazy.
If I would've imagined, one year ago, that my soulmate would find me on myspace.com,
I would've thought I was crazy.
If you would've told me, one year ago, that I could ever be this happy,
I would've told you you're crazy.

Sightings
I'd like to introduce a new feature to the blog... I don't know why... I call this "Sightings." It's basically sightings of people I've seen. Heh heh.
Charles (former landlord).
Jarrod (former lead guitarist for Asbestos).
Both sightings were at my grocery store today.

My Big, Dumb Day
Ear infection...
Pop tarts...
Two hours late for work...
Feeding the stray dog...
Pop tarts...
Two hours late for work...
Feeding the stray dog...
I woke up Sunday unable to hear anything in my right ear... And, the saga continues! It started showing signs of improvements today, but it sucks again right now, at this very moment.
Considering that super secret job, which involves pop tarts, and pays $13 an hour, and has lots of neat little perks, but it's on the night shift.
Supposed to have worked from 10-7 today, but due to the job interview with the top secret company I worked from 12-9. And my boss didn't even care. He was just glad that I showed up at all.
I've been feeding this really sweet boxer bulldog at work for the past couple weeks. Someone set her off in the parking lot, and she's homeless, and starving, and very afraid of people.

Mom Update
I don't "get" my mom's doctors. They keep going back and forth with her, sending her on an emotional rollercoaster. "You've got cancer," "You don't have cancer," "You've got 5 years to live," "It's not life-threatening." They don't seem to know what they're talking about. The hospital she's going to is full of a bunch of students / future doctors. If it was me, I'd go somewhere different. I guess she's stuck there, though, because it's, like, the nearest hospital that my dad's insurance will accept. They're saying that she's going to have to take chemotherapy for the rest of her life. They'll probably end up changing their minds about that, too, before long. I don't know... But, yeah, she does have cancer. They all agree on that, now. It's in her liver, and in her spine.

Recent Pictures
We brought my old buddy, Tommy, home with us a couple weeks ago. He loves it here. See?
While we're on the subject of cats... Here's (the recently neutered) Ozzy with his tree:
And, here is the sweet, old lady of the bunch... My Scruffy... She's 15 years old now! Here she is on Christmas 2006, getting high on cat nip:
Here's an older picture of me and my baby. Why? Because I can!
Here's the future of Cruel Music... A sneak preview... This is the "before" version of the brand-new Cruel Music recording studio:
(The previous owner of our house used it as a work shop... I'm going to use it as a different type of shop... A "Music Shop..." Working title... Subject to change at any second... Look for big things coming from Cruel Music in 2007. I just did a measly little ONE release for Cruel Music in 2006! Cruel Music has been slowly deminishing over the last few years. This new studio is going to breathe new life into Cruel Music. I promise! Really! I have a studio, and I have the love of my life. I'm going to be really, really inspired to make music in 2007! That's a bit of a resolution of mine...)

I mentioned in an earlier post (when I thought I'd be moving back to Chatty, but didn't) that one of the neat things about being back in Chatty would be that I'd be able to see the "Famous People" again. I'm living in a different part of Chatty right now, and I didn't think I'd be seeing the "Famous People," but, come to find out, I've seen a couple of them! Oh happy day!!! On the very day that we moved here (in the new house) I saw the one, the only "Chicken George!" Turns out that he lives right up the road from us, so I'll be seeing a lot of him... In related news, I just saw "That Old Drunk Man" walking down the road in front of our house! Two, two "Famous People." Ahh ahh ahh!
This is great! We love our new house. We don't have to pay rent anymore, so we can afford little luxuries, like having cable TV! I think the electric bill is going to be a lot cheaper, too... Actually, ANYTHING is cheaper than $140 a month for electric! I crap you not, friends, our electric bill was usually right around $140 every month in the old place... One-Hundred, and Forty dollars!!! We don't have a phone at the moment, but I think we'll be able to afford to get one soon. Maybe. Hopefully. Gotta kinda be careful, because we've got insurance and taxes to pay on the house every year now.
Anyway, Merry Christmas!!! God bless. Peace be.

“LIFE WASTED”
~Pearl Jam
You're always saying that there's something wrong,...
I'm starting to believe it's your plan all along,...
Death came around, forced to hear its song,...
And know tomorrow can't be depended on.
I seen the home inside your head,...
All locked doors and unmade beds.
Open sores unattended
Let me say just once that
I have faced it,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again.
I escaped it,... A life wasted,..
I'm never going back again.
Having tasted,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again
The world awaits just up the stairs
Leave the pain for someone else.
Nothing back there for you to find,...
Or was it you, you left behind?
You're always saying you're too weak to be strong,...
You're harder on yourself than just about anyone,...
Why swim the channel just to get this far?
Halfway there, why would you turn around?
Darkness comes in waves,... tell me,
why invite it to stay?
You're warm with negativity,
Yes, comfort is an energy,...
But why let the sad song play?
I have faced it,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again.
Oh I escaped it,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again.
Having tasted,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again.
Oh I erased it,... A life wasted,...
I'm never going back again.

Back In The Saddle Again
Back in Chatty! It's the end of Day 3 in the new house. Everything is going really great, for the most part. I mean, the house is still in a bit of a mess, because we haven't had time to put all the stuff where it belongs... Bags laying around everywhere... A lot of things in the house don't seem to work. The kitchen sink faucet leaks badly. The washing machine doesn't work. The dryer doesn't work. We can't get our Christmas decorations up, because half of the lights don't work! But, other than that, it's typical moving stuff. Ozzy loves the place! He's getting into everything that he shouldn't be. He's in love with the Christmas tree (which we finally got up tonight, but it still doesn't have any decorations, but the lights don't work --- Gotta love "hand-me-downs," huh?).
Man, work sucks! I don't have any time to do anything anymore. I just work, sleep, and go back to work. It's really bothering me, because I don't get to spend much time with my sweet angel girl, my life, my soulmate, my Denise... And I don't get to see my mom much, and that sucks, too, because of her cancer thing, and she really needs me right now, and I don't have time to be with her! There should be jobs that only require you to work, like, 2 hours a day, and have the other 22 hours to yourself, man!

The Final Frontier... Not Space
Hey, hey! Historic moment, man! This, what you're reading right now this minute, will be my last post while being held captive by the monkey. I mentioned it the other day, but in case you missed it, or forgot, or you're just too lazy to scroll down and read my last post... WE'RE MOVING!!! We're going back to Chatty, in a nice little house we found there, like, in July, or sometime back in the summer. It's been a while, but we're finally getting in there. No more rent. No more landlords telling us what we can, and cannot, do. Ozzy can finally run free, and not have to live in constant fear of the evil monkey. Cruel Music will get back to business, too, because I'm building a studio in the work shop out back. It's a cool house. Be on the lookout for pictures soon... FREE AT LAST!!! FREE AT LAST!!! THANK GOD ALMIGHTY, WE'RE FREE AT LAST!!!

...So, there was my Mustang, sitting there in the parking lot, minding its own business, waiting for me to get off work Thursday, and BOOM!!! Some stupid, retarded idiot ran into it with their car. They put a nice dint in the back passenger's side fender, and left. The only clue to this crime is that they had a blue-green car. The best part of it is that I'M going to have to pay $500 deductible to get it fixed. So, I'm pissed for two reasons: One, the retard who hit my car, and two, the insurance company trying to make me pay $500 to get the thing fixed. What is the point in giving my insurance company $1,200 a year if they're not even going to fix my stupid car when some big dummy decides to have a little hit-and-run fun?!

Happenings
Haven't really had time to check in lately... In case you haven't heard, my mom has cancer, yet again. I don't know if this qualifies as being her fourth battle with cancer, or not. I kinda think it has been there since, like, March, when she had ovarian cancer, and the doctors just didn't spot it then... The reason behind my theory is because she has cancer in her breast again, in her liver, in her right lung, and in her bones... It's bad this time... She's in the hospital as we speak. She keeps saying she's going to get better again. But, like I said, it's bad... The only reason she survived cancer the first two times is because of early detection. No one caught it in time this time around. It's had time to spread through, pretty much, her whole body. She's going to have to have chemotherapy again. I think that's pretty pointless, myself. The only thing that's going to save her this time is your prayers.
I've been trying to keep my mind off my mom's sickness, because it's just too much for me to handle... So... In an effort to keep myself distracted, I saw my third concert this year, Friday night. I went with Brother J.R. to see GUNS N' FREAKIN' ROSES!!! Guns N' Roses is probably my favorite band of all time, as you all know. I don't care if it was just Axl Rose, and his side band, and not the original GN'R, this was still a dream come true. Amazing concert, man! I've been kinda idolizing Axl Rose for the better part of 20 years now, and I must say, I've never seen him happier, or more upbeat than he was Friday night. He kept smiling, and joking around, and stuff. It was inspiring. Sebastian Bach opened the show, at 8:00. That was a bit of a surprise, because I didn't even think GN'R was having an opening band. Sebastian rolled out a bunch of my old favorite Skid Row songs, as well as a few of his new songs. He even dissed Ted Nugent for a while. He said, on the VH1 show, "Super Group," Ted put him down for drinking. So, Friday, Sebastian struck back by saying something along the lines of, "Ted Nugent is a weirdo, who gets out and shoots little animals for fun, and he calls me a bad person because I drink." Heh. He seemed a little lost during his show, though. He kept forgetting what song was next, and stuff... In all, Sebastian, and his band played for about an hour and a half... Then, the big moment? Guns N' Roses? Nope, not yet... Papa Roach played for, like, 45 minutes. They're not a bad band... They're pretty decent, actually, but they seemed to annoy me, though, because I was getting tired of waiting for GN'R to hit the stage. FINALLY... Around 11:00, the lights went out, and Axl Rose screamed out, "Do you know where you are???" The place erupted. It made the hair stand on the back of my neck. "Welcome To The Jungle," of course... It was a fairly typical GN'R set list, followed by: "It's So Easy," "Mr. Brownstone," "Live and Let Die," "Knocking On Heaven's Door," "You Could Be Mine," "Sweet Child O' Mine," and "Street Of Dreams." There were a few surprises, like, the next song, a new one... I'd heard a demo of it before, but never heard it live. I think it's called "Better." Kinda weird, and freaky song, but it was okay... Then, "Out Ta Get Me," "I.R.S," and "November Rain." And, in the biggest surprise of the night, they played my favorite song from "The Spaghetti Incident" album... Axl said, "I haven't sung this song for about 13 years..." "Down On The Farm." It was great!!! Then, a cool acoustic section: "You're Crazy, " "Used To Love Her," and "Patience." And... Another neat thing. Axl brought Sebastian Bach out to sing "My Michelle" with him. Good stuff! Umm... "Nightrain," and "Rocket Queen." And, for the encore, they played "Chinese Democracy," and "Paradise City." Really really really good show! So glad I got to see that. I would've never imagined I'd get to see Guns N' Roses in concert. And, even though it wasn't the real Guns N' Roses, with Slash, Duff, and Izzy, it was still really cool. I loved it!

Oh, and the little red, rectangular thing beside my ticket scan is a piece of the red confetti that was dropping from the ceiling at the end of "Paradise City." Yes, I kept it. I'm weird...

1) Single, Taken, or Crushing?
Taken
2) Are you happy with where you are?
No thanks
3) When you meet the right person, do you fall fast?
What?! Doesn't everyone? I mean, you find the right person, and you know, right?
4) Have you ever had your heart broken?
I've had my heart ripped out by the roots, and stepped on, and grinded into the dirt a few times, but it was for the better, ya know? You have to weed out the evil people in order to find your soulmate.
5) Do you believe that there are certain circumstances where cheating is ok?
On your homework? Definitely. Take every advantage you can get, man!
6) Would you ever take someone back if they cheated on you?
Like, if they turned their work in with my name on it, then, no, I'd never talk to them again, because they'd get me suspended, or something.
7) Have you talked about marriage with another person?
With my soulmate, yes, but not anyone else, if that's what you mean.
8) Do you want children?
Three.
9) How many?
Yes.
10) Would you consider adoption?
Sure. Whatever floats your boat.
11) If somebody liked you right now, what do you think is a cool way to let you know?
It wouldn't matter, because I'd tell her she's too late, because I have my soulmate, thank you.
12) Do you enjoy playing hard to get?
I don't get off on it, if that's what you mean.
13) Be honest, do you play the "game" when you are dating?
I'm not dating, and I'm not a player, or any of that crap.
14) Do you believe love at first sight exists?
Of course.
15) Are you romantic?
When I can afford to be.
16) Do you believe that you can change someone?
I wouldn't want to. I know some people who are really into that, but not me. "Take me for who I am, or don't take me anywhere," or something like that...
17) If you could get married anywhere, money not an object where would it be?
Hawaii, but since I'll never see another ocean again, the courthouse will have to do.
18) Do you have feelings for someone right now?
Yes, I have feelings of hate for my landlord, and my boss, and anyone else who is abusing their power in this world.
19) Have you ever wished you could've had someone but you couldn't?
Who are you? Hitler, or something?!
20) Have you ever broken a heart?
Probably, but I don't care, because I have my soulmate. Screw everyone else!
21) Would you ever fight somebody over your significant other?
If it came down to it, yeah.
22)What would you say about your last ex?
She's evil. She sculpted, and manipulated me for 11 years, and tried to make me someone I'm not, just so she could watch me squirm.

Sunday Ramblings
Hey, it's neat how the gas prices are coming down, huh? This guy was chit-chatting with me at the pump today, "It's about time we get a break at the pumps, ain't it, Buddy?" Yeah... Whatever... Isn't it a coincidence that gas prices would be falling this close to election time? And they say they can't control the gas prices! Mark my words: Gas will be back at $3 a gallon by New Year's Eve. Maybe even $4... I hate the government! I hate all their little vairous conspiracies, and such...
Ever heard of this guy, Robert Mirabal? My baby girl turned me on to him a couple months ago. Good Native American rock music! I dig it, man!
Had to pay rent again today. Can't remember if I mentioned it, or not, but I've been kinda dealing with the Housing Authority, lately. They help low-income folks buy houses. They're slower than Christmas! They've been, supposedly, looking at this one house for us for the last 3 weeks, but they're not giving us any news. They keep saying, "We'll let ya know something next week," but next week never seems to come! Kinda tempted to go back to the bank, because we really really like this house, man (it's a different house in Chatty... Not the one we were trying for before, or the other one, or that one, but it's different...). We could get the place for $200 a month with the Housing Authority, which would include insurance, and stuff... Or we could go to the bank, and pay $400 a month, plus another $100, or so, for insurance... $200 vs. $500? Hmmm... Oh yeah, and the bank would want this nifty little $5,800 down-payment, too.... And, we kinda don't have that kind of money... Or $500 a month, for that matter... Which is why we're trying the Housing Authority in the first place... Golly, they're slow! They give us 4 months to find a place, and they've wasted almost 1 month on this one place! Do you know anyone who works for the Housing Authority? If so, ask them what the deal is! Why are they so slow, man?!
On the bright side, my depression hasn't been so bad about these money things as it was before, so that's neat... Gives me more time to think about how much I hate the landlord, and greed, and the government, and winter, etc...
